Anyone else get insulted when on a night out like this?

im 25. went into a really full bar 2 nights ago it was an over 18's establishment, the guy behind the bar would not serve me till i showed proof of age, thank god i actually had some sort of I.D on me it would of been more embarrassing if i hadnt, but i felt like a right sap on front of everyone. does this bother anyone else? i was pi$$ed off for about a half hour afterwards.
