Moss frog eye help pleasee!?

i just bought a moss frog today and as i was leaving the store i noticed that the frog is missing (or looks like) hes missing an eye. his eye lid is moving but theres no eye. do you think that this is just temperary or does he just not have an eye? if so, how do i get his eye to come out. ik some frogs do this for short peroids of time but we havnt even seen an eye yet. theres no marks.its been an hour. please help
