How to watch SAP announcement (VLC player) thru a wireless router?

college network has TV streaming service, I connect to the local college network thru a wireless router, but then can't stream SAP since then. obviously my ip now is 192.168.1.2 not the college ip anymore, but my router is directly connected to the college network. How can I get SAP annoucement to display in this case?
