Say this guy likes you, how do you NOT like him back?

well if you don't like him just tell him straightly but nicely. i have that problem similar. this guy asked me out and he one of my friends but i didn't really like him so i had to tell him no and came straight with it. but nicely. he was sad but i said sorry and try to cheer him up. sometimes you will like him without knowing.
