US or UK for how it looks?

I live in the UK. The pavements are horrible and have green moss/litter, Americas are smooth and nice, America looks different (better) whereas the UK looks dull. Englands buildings are old and rough. Go on street view and look at Dalton Town with Newton, UK you'll see what I mean... Why do they look different? Why cant countaries look the same? The Tarmac here looks differnet and in US not one bit of rubbish? On films from the year 2000 the uk's modern buildings looks **** and the uk looks older and less organized why?
