What light should I use for growing aquatic plants?

I've decided I'm going to invest into a 20 or 30 gallon tank and begin growing my own aquatic plants. Does anyone know what kind of light I should use? I'm only going to grow simple beginner plants for now such as java moss, java fern, and anubias. After the plants get growing I want to add in some tetras, so I want to make sure whatever light I need for the plants is also safe for the fish as well. I really appreciate all the help :)
